The Street to Home Initiative( S2Hi ) Intern will prepare an interim outcome evaluationbased on 18 months of program data for the Street to Home Initiative. Tthe goal of the internship is to create a paper that can be published in a professional journal that describes S2Hi methodology with quantitative and qualitative analysis of interim outcomes. We are specifically seeking expertise in analyzing trends on length of homeless, type of housing secured, symptoms (mental health, physical health, substance abuse), and client background (veteran, foster care, mental institution, prison/jail). The Real Estate Unit intern will work with the Director and staff of the new Real Estate Services Unit to coordinate placement for Common Ground's clients in private sector housing. This will include: working closely with landlords and managing agents, supporting special needs clients for smooth transition to new housing and involvement with many government agencies that administer subsidies and resources for the homeless. Special projects, including research, may also be required. The Resource Development Intern will work with the Director of Resource Development staff on the research, development and production of marketing and other informational materials about Common Ground's work and other issues surrounding homelessness for funders, stakeholders and the general public. He/she will also research funders potentially interested in Common Ground's programs, along with background information, relevant statistics and other programmatic areas for use in Common Ground's proposals and reports.
