This organization is also willing to do create-your-own internships for college students at either MoE or CNC- see more info at bottom of website link. Would you like to help care for the Nature Center Animals? The Cayuga Nature Center needs dependable volunteers to assist with the feeding, cleaning, enrichment and socialization of the Nature Center's animals. Giving public education programs is also an option for an interested person. We especially need caretakers that can volunteer on anytime between 10 am and 2 pm. Volunteers must be 18 years-old or older. They must be able to clean, lift, bend and work with a variety of animal species. They must be able to learn the basics about the Nature Center's animals so they can answer public questions. A prior experience with animals and their handling is a plus. The volunteer must have reliable transportation (there is no TCAT bus service to the Cayuga Nature Center, however there is to the Museum of the Earth).
